OFFSET @ Deptford X Fringe Festival 2018

I would like to invite you to my newest short film OFFSET screening @ Deptford X Fringe Festival 2018

OFFSET
There is no guidebook on how to survive the agonising hurricane of pain when you find your most intimate self betrayed. Trapped between walls of pain, you try to fight your way out.
How much of the pain do you need in order to survive, what time do you get to test the truth of your expectations and how much do you let yourself be told of what is right? In fight for breath, love balances us sharply on hopes blade.

Iwa Pele @ Deptford X Fringe Festival 2018

I would like to invite you to my newest collaboration presented @ Deptford X Fringe Festival 2018:

Iwa Pele – a visual dance research collaboration by Kathrin Gramelsberger with Maarten Krielen and Anne Verheij

Iwa Pele is a concept from the Nigerian Yoruba religion and means balanced character. In Iwa Pele three artists go in search of this balance.
Nigerian-German initiator and choreographer Kathrin Gramelsberger explores her mixed heritage.
Inspired by Orisha – deities of the Yoruba people, this visual dance performance combines video art, Nigerian celebration dances and contemporary dance in a distorted way to discuss tradition and identity creating new points of view.

ONES VANISHING POINT @ Deptford X Fringe Festival!

Miku and I have some very exciting news:

ONES VANISHING POINT will be screened during Deptford X Fringe Festival!

@ Deli X, 156 Deptford High Street, SE8 3PQ
22 – 30 September 2017
Mon – Fri 09.00–18.30
Sat 09.00–18.00

In ONES VANISHING POINT the audience is drawn into a world of strong visual movement, where we lose our sense of gravity and direction. The inseparable relationship between the interior and exterior is tested. The 7-minute video installation dives under the skin of brutalist architecture where echoes of mankind linger.

ONES [two] @ Deptford X Fringe Festival 24 Sept – 1 Oct

We would like to invite you to

ONES [two]
[2 women, 2 countries, 2 disciplines]
a film by Anne Verheij & Miku Tsuchiya

ONES [two] is a double screened video installation that depicts the inner voice of a haunted woman by crawling under her moving skin.
The interior and exterior are brought together by the three elements of water, wind and earth.
As the lines between movement and manipulation blur, her calm facade cracks, revealing something dark and mysterious, as it makes its way to the surface.

This project crosses the borders from UK to China.
